Overview
Come on a day trip to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant populations and opportunities to spot predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards. It’s the second-best choice for a day safari from Arusha after the Ngorongoro day trip.
Safari Plan
After breakfast, our guide will pick you up from your hotel. If you're in Moshi, aim to leave by 6:30 AM; for Arusha, depart by 7:30 AM. The drive to Tarangire National Park takes 2 to 3 hours.
Prepare to be amazed upon arrival! Witness herds of majestic elephants wandering among ancient Baobab trees. Lions, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, and zebras gather at the riverbanks for a refreshing drink. Bird lovers can spot over 550 species, including the magnificent Masai Ostrich—the world's largest bird.
After an exciting game drive, enjoy a picnic lunch in the park. Then, take one last mini-game drive before heading back to Arusha or Moshi. Your driver will drop you at airport or in your hotel. This will mark the end of your trip with us.
